Spade is known for his clever wordplay & “hook catching” type of rapping, all the while writing down his lyrics, similarly to Tupac Shakur. He has defined his style as “trap music” and explained it in an interview with the Buffet Boys: “I don’t really care what I say on a track as long as it’s about somethin that I’ve experienced. When you try to imitate other people or just solely aim to satisfy the masses and not write from the heart that’s when you’re music is gon’ be fucked up and watered down.” His Rap influences are the Notorious B.I.G, Nas, Soulja Slim, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, DMX, T.I., & Gucci Mane.
