HCM. How did you come by your stage name?
Kyle Young Jones. I Was Reading A Donald Goines Novel In Titled, ” Crime Partners.” Where He Put It: ” Being A Artist ” And Having To Deal With Days Experience From Ground Zero. And Rising Above The Background Of These City Streets. After Reading, ” I Took On The Kyle Young Jones Name.”
HCM. When did you discover your love for music and what made you realize you wanted to pursuit a career in music?
Kyle Young Jones. I Grow Up In A Brief Period Where I Played The Drums. My Grade School Mc Donald #32 Marching Band. Later, Bounce Music Came To The Scene. And I Would Take Them Records Apart Different Sets, Breaks, And Put Them Back Together. I’m A Fan Of The Music First Then I Got That Call To Make My Own Version Of Bounce/Rap Music.
HCM. To what or whom do you accredit your sense of style?
Kyle Young Jones. Every City Has There Own Unique Flavor, But Do To Flooding And Natural Disasters ( In And Around My City ) I Had A Chance To See The Unique ( Ness ) Of My City, And Most Of That Came Out In My Music.
HCM. On your current/upcoming album… How did you come up with the concept for this project?
Kyle Young Jones. I Was Midway Into My 4th Ep, ” The Kyle Young Jones Edition The Ep Vol.1.” My Latest Single In Titled, ” Life Music And Boy ” The Concept Was A Natural 1 Most Of The Ep Had A Smooth, But Rough Fill. This 1 Took Me Back To Them Familiar Sound Of Bounce That Expressed Where I Was From New Orleans.
