HCM. Tell us about where you’re from and how you got to this position today.
Mr. Hympdok. I’m Mr. HympDok, aka, your Phunk Musik Pharmacist, aka Smokey Davis Jr. Shabong!!!, aka Dok Lou The M.C. born at Ft. Jackson S.C., and was raised in Bossier City, Shreveport area. I’ve been forever consumed with this energy wave known as Hip Hop since as early as 1985. I’ve gathered influences for my music from ALL coast, and of course the Reggae influence is there as well. D.Higgs. I was born in Tampa Bay, FL but grew up in Paradise Valley, AZ for 7 years. I then moved to CT when I was 13 and was there for about 7 years as well. Mojo. It was just a name I got when I was a young boy for always being fresh. And it just stuck with me.
