HCM. When did you discover your love for music and what made you realize you wanted to pursuit a career in music?
Skully. I was always into music since a young kid. I come from a musical City with hip hop at his core so I always had the influence of the streets which ties into the music.
HCM. To what or whom do you accredit your sense of style?
Skully. Coming from the Philadelphia area style was always mandatory growing up. But personally the rappers that had the most style to me would be Raewan and Nas for sure.
HCM. What are some of your greatest challenges as an artist, and what is your greatest attribute when it comes to your work ethic?
Skully. The greatest challenges to me is to continue to be inspired. And my work ethic comes from a hunger inside to stay on top of my game.
HCM. What impression would you like listeners to be left with after hearing your music?
Skully. I want to leave The Listener with a sense of authenticity…
HCM. Is there anyone you’d like to thank, any shout outs?
Skully. Shot out to Eddie Vegaz and Chase Paso with the Vegaz Boyz and the whole GIG staff.
