This week HCM caught up with an intriguing Canadian rapper known as Blow_Flyy. Staying true to his beliefs, Blow_Flyy focuses on keeping his music clean while making music that’s from the heart. Having performed on various stages in venues across Canada, Blow Flyy strives to establish himself as an artist in his own lane. HCM. How did you come by your stage name?
Blow_Flyy. It’s my father’s name, people know him as blow so I took the blow and added the flyy.

HCM. When did you discover your love for music and what made you realize you wanted to pursue a career in music?
Blow_Flyy. Music is apart of my life since a kid, the love for music was all we’re there what made me realize I wanted to pursue a career in music, I would say my cousin who is also my manager when you have somebody around you that sees something in you and believes in your talent and I also believe in myself it makes it easier to pursue any career you are passionate.

HCM. On your current album “Blood N Honey”… How did you come up with the concept for this project?
Blow Flyy. I treat my projects like mini books, I come up with a concept and I write my songs around that title so the blood would represent the pain and the honey for the sweet things life can offer.

HCM. What are some of your greatest challenges as an independent artist, and what is your greatest attribute or what do you give credit to when it comes to your work ethic or how hard and consistent you work?
Blow_Flyy. As an independent artist, you have to expect challenges, but you have to keep striving, I give credit to myself! if I don’t put the work! Then this hole brand that I and my manager are trying to build will all be for nothing, the only way to stay relevant is to stay consistent so I work .. on my craft daily

HCM. What impression or how would you like Music listeners’ thoughts & feelings to be left with after hearing your music?
Blow_Flyy. I would like my fans and music listeners when hearing my music to get a great feeling of joy, happiness,& positiveness I want them to feel touched by my music, and be able to relate, their thought, and real-life situations they might have to my music.

HCM. What are you & your Team Goals, Plans & hopes for 2020 and the near future?
Blow_Flyy. The plans are to continue branding Blow_flyy and our”JUSTBFLYY” Brand Logo’d clothing & apparel along with other types of Logo’d T’s, Hoodies, etc, etc through our 2 Online Merch Stores, with the Goal of Generating Revenue Stream with the 2 stores. This year it’s all about just moving forward with more shows and Festivals in Toronto Ontario Canada for 2020.WE just keep moving Forwards.
