HCM. How did you come by your stage name?
JaeHussain. It was kinda random through the conversation of thinking of a name we were like people are going to be like omg is that the girl Jawonza so it morphed into omg is that JaeHussain.
HCM. When did you discover your love for music and what made you realize you wanted to pursue a career in music?
JaeHussain. When I was a child. I was playing my grandparent’s organ and guitar since I was born I was probably just making noise but I was doing my thang if you ask me.
HCM. On your upcoming album… How did you come up with the concept for this project?
JaeHussain. My upcoming project is called UNLIKELY since it was unlikely to happen given COVID-19 and other challenges. The first single off of the album is called Ordinary ft Bravo and Henny Ceasar dripping 7/17/2020 via Spotify and all streaming platforms.
HCM. What are some of your greatest challenges as an artist, and what is your greatest attribute when it comes to your work ethic?
JaeHussain. My greatest challenge is not letting my self be my worst critic and my greatest attribute is my love for music keeps me creating new vibes.
HCM. What impression would you like listeners to be left with after hearing your music?
JaeHussain. I hope my music touches people in various ways I’m more interested in the feedback on how my music moves people.
