STONEY SOS INTERVIEW

HCM. How did you come by your stage name?
Stony Sos. I came by my stage name Stony because I love to smoke and Sos was because it stands for Stoner On Sight, you will always see me smoking.

HCM. When did you discover your love for music and what made you realize you wanted to pursuit a career in music?
Stony Sos. I always had a love for music, my mom used to have a tremendously big stereo with huge speakers and she would always play a variety of music and I used to be right there bobbin’ with her so I love music. I’ve always been writing but it was just as an outlet, but everyone kept telling me I was really talented that I should really make music and take it serious so about 2 years ago I just said fuck it and started writing even more and putting my own stuff out.

HCM. To what or whom do you accredit your sense of style?
Stony Sos. I would say Lil Wayne because through his music and appearance he always taught me to be myself and try new things regardless of what anyone had to say.

HCM. On your upcoming album… How did you come up with the concept for this project?
Stony Sos. The upcoming album is called “Trapped By The Streets”, I came up with the concept because I know people can relate by being trapped by the streets, feeling like there’s no other way out. Always going back to the streets because that’s the only way you know how to get it and survive so Trapped By The Streets is me telling my story.

HCM. What are some of your greatest challenges as an artist, and what is your greatest attribute when it comes to your work ethic?
Stony Sos. Some of my greatest challenges as an artist was finding my audience honestly, it’s like you never know who is attracted to your music till you put it out. You’d be surprised.

Another challenge was finding out who’s real and who’s fake, I had so many fake ass people telling me that they’re managers and they can take me to the next level but nobody ever was genuine or they just sold me dreams to try to get money out of me.

My greatest attribute when it comes to my work ethic is that once I start, I can’t stop. My drive is out of this world and that’s what got me where I am today.

HCM. What impression would you like listeners to be left with after hearing your music?
Stony Sos. That man has got talent and it’s raw.

HCM. What are your plans for the near future?
Stony Sos. Drop more music, sell more records, achieve more streaming goals and build more genuine fans worldwide.

HCM. Is there anyone you’d like to thank, any shout outs?
Stony Sos. My business partner of 222 ENT LLC
