Who is Adeeldareal you might ask…? He’s an up-and-coming rap artist from the northwest who saw some early success with one of his releases on Soundcloud. With his fanbase constantly growing, Adeeldareal looks to become a household name within the music industry. Take a look at his interview to learn more.

HCM. Where are you from and how did you get to this point in your career as an artist?
Adeeldareal. I am from Portland Oregon and am 20 years old.
I dropped Fly 2 the Moon and it hit like 50k in the first month on SoundCloud. Then when I dropped my second song my fans started flooding in. Now I have a good fanbase but it’s increasing day by day.

HCM. When did you know that you were going to make music a career?
Adeeldareal. When my first song did real numbers in my city and people started taking me seriously as an artist.

HCM. What musical influences did you listen to growing up helped to mold you into the artist you are today?
Adeeldareal. I grew up listening to Michael Jackson when I was a kid but I really liked Tupac and Chief Keef growing up too.

HCM. On your current/upcoming album… How did you come up with the concept for this project?
Adeeldareal. “Sprite” is my upcoming song its to be released on April 20th. It’s a song about my life and my struggles growing up in section 8 and being isolated from everyone else.

HCM. What are some of your greatest challenges as an artist, and what is your greatest attribute when it comes to your work ethic?
Adeeldareal. I mean my greatest challenge is just getting my music out there I feel like I just need that one hit song to put everyone on to my other music. My best music is the music I make the fastest but I have a good work ethic and a strong passion for making music.

HCM. What do you think your “biggest break” or “greatest opportunity” has been so far in your musical career?
Adeeldareal. I mean I really haven’t had any opportunities yet I’m in Portland, Oregon where the music scene isn’t really popping like that but I would say my song “Fly 2 the Moon” touched 300k in my first year on SoundCloud probably was. Also “Mamas Macaroni” and “Dream Chaser” did really well hopefully I can replicate that with my next single “Sprite”.

HCM. How do you see your sound evolving in the next couple of years?
Adeeldareal. I’m definitely going to get better musically but I have no clue what the future holds for me.

HCM. What impression would you like listeners to be left with after hearing your music?
Adeeldareal. I want listeners to just enjoy and really feel my music.
