HCM. How did you come by your stage name? D-Nutt. I got the name D-Nutt from a homie back in high school. I had a hot temper, knockin a few niggas out, was freestylin & rappin & the name just stuck.
HCM. When did you start making music and taking it serious? D-Nutt. I was just f****n’ around making music back in 2008 & about a year & a half ago is when i started taking it serious, dropping 3 mixtapes.
HCM. Do you feel that you are an artist or entertainer? Explain. D-Nutt. I am an artist first and foremost. I’m not here to entertain really, cuz I speak for the streets & the reality of it all and I will never forget where I come from.
HCM. Does going platinum matter to you? D-Nutt. Yes, going platinum matters to me. It’s not one without the other, I’m a business man and an artist first and foremost. Anything I do, I plan on exceeding past the margin and shoot for the stars. Ain’t no limit.
