24GisHood Critic Magazine interviews rap duo 24gis. The group is made up of Tino and Sqilz. They are songwriters and have written virtually all the songs in their just released album. Their debut single “One Look from You” was released on November 22, 2014. In the single they featured one of Africa’s finest RnB artist; Gt-da-guitarman. There’s no denial that 24Gis are a bank of talent. On 3rd April 2015, 24Gis released their debut album “In & Out”. The In and Out of the journey so far. Here’s what they had to say.

HCM. Where are you from?

We are a duo rap group from Lagos, Nigeria

HCM. How did you come by your stage/band name?

The 24 was gotten from the number of the house we both resided because we were neighbors, and the Gis was gotten from the first letter of our names which is Godwin and Isiaq.

HCM. How do you feel about the present state of the music industry?

What we feel about the present music industry is that not only hip hop is dead but music as a whole cause good music is being hidden and bad music is being promoted.

HCM. Today’s music seem to be about collaborations with the “hottest” artist out. Who would you want to work with on a project? And why?

The artist we would luv to work with is 50 Cent cause we like his style of rap.

HCM. What are you currently working on and how can the people find you?

We are currently working on our new music video “When You Are Down” and it’s gonna be a big one. You should check out 24gis album #In&Out on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify etc.
