Melodik Tonez

Christian Alexandria Keith better known by her stage name Melodik Tonez, was born January 2, 1993 in Columbia SC. Her father Terrence Keith is an IT and photography professional in Newport News, Virginia. Her mother Mariea Gibbs is a massage therapist in Columbia South Carolina. She has 6 older sisters and 2 younger sisters.

Melodiks older sister dated a South Carolinian native, singer-songwriter and dancer Bradley Gadsden and when he discovered Melodiks vocal and writing talents shared it with his best friend Ken Crawford, another SC native singer-songwriter and producer. The two up and coming artists took 13year old Melodik under their wing and mentored her, introducing her to local studios to practice and develop her art form.

In 2011, at 18yrs old, Melodik recorded her first song Base Line, with Ken Crawford at Quantum beats studio. She became addicted to the studio and felt at home here because they treated their artists like family, developing the artists and teaching them about the industry. She then met other local artist such as Dondada, Juice, A-Town, Noah, and Sqib which whom she attributes her success and musical growth.

That support helped lead her into singing opportunities for the Delta Sigma Theta Annual fundraiser Ball and the Annual American Heart Walk. She has recorded demos for Keke Palmer, Ariana Grande, Brandy, and Rihanna. Sony digital, Dj Mustard, and Brian Michael Cox produced some of these demos. To add to her resume, Melodik had also opening for K. Michelle, Lyfe Jennings, Tank and multiple up and coming local artists EP release shows.
