HCM Interviews Bionic

HCM. How did you come by your stage name?
Bionic. Tbh many years ago like 8 years back, me and a couple friends will miss school and head over to the radio station in order to find one of the presenters. Did this for like 2 years straight almost everyday without fail. Finally one of the presenters recognized me and jokingly said ‘your not human, your bionic’. I guess its a compliment to my consistency…lol. Ever since then I thought, yeah I’ll run with that 🙂

Bionic was born…

HCM. To what or whom do you accredit your sense of style?
Bionic. My style is me however I have been influenced by various artists such as Pharrell Williams, Quincy Jones, Max Martin, Calvin Harris, ColdPlay, Fela Kuti, Nirvana, Travis Scott, London Future, Labrinth.

HCM. On your current/upcoming album… How did you come up with the concept for this project?
Bionic. Atm, I’m just creating lots and lots of music, however an album is on my mind in which I have a few concepts for. Keep your eyes peeled soon.

HCM. What are some of your greatest challenges as an artist, and what is your greatest attribute when it comes to your work ethic?
Bionic. My work ethic is do or die! I go all out for the music… It’s what I do, it’s what I love, it’s all I know. I’ve seen people chase their dreams and give up due to certain situations. All I can say is, “your time is now”, not tomorrow or next week but now.

HCM. Is there anyone you’d like to thank, any shout outs?
Bionic. Shout out to the special Karina (Karsadotravel), Erik Madrid, William Binderup, Chris Gehringer, Matt Martino and Curt Soul for the help and support they gave me in releasing my debut single.
