“Do things for people not because of who they are or what they do in return, but because of who you are.” – Harold S. Kushner
Hood Critic Magazine takes a moment to share something that we as Americans should strive to do on a regular basis. Officer Fredrick Coleman of the Dallas County Sheriffs Department was witnessed displaying an act of kindness by giving a random homeless man a ride to the local Waffle House and providing him with hot coffee and a warm meal.
Prattville, Alabama native Kevin Davis just happened to be the one who witnessed this good deed and had this to say about what he’d seen.
I was in Selma tonight and I witnessed an amazing attribute. This officer brought this gentleman in a Mr. Waffle after seeing him walking down the road to buy him some warm food and cup of coffee. We need more people like this in the world. Please help others who have less than you. I was inspired by this officer and I plan to move forward helping when I can. This gentleman is officer Coleman out of Selma Alabama please share this and let’s make a difference like this officer. I am truly proud to have witnessed this.
In summary, no matter where you are in life, you never know who may be watching. Shout out to Officer Coleman for his actions as a person and as a human being!
