NRW Records Releases Single from The Alex & Tokyo Rose Sequel

For those of you who are familiar with their work, Alex and Tokyo Rose birthed the intense, dark synth fan favorite with the release of “Akuma”. The two are back with an even more sinister, retro-electro sequel in “Akuma II”.

New Retro Wave joins in on the action by releasing a music video to the single “Affliction” on May 10, 2019. The video went on to receive rave reviews from critics and fans alike, and has received over 100K views on YouTube.

A brief look at NRW’s success over the years includes having their artists’ music featured in Netflix films and TV shows to include titles such as Death Note and Family Guy. They’ve even been featured in major movies, including the latest Godzilla franchise. With such a strong resume’ of accolades, NRW Records have managed to attract the attention of 80s new wave artist Thomas Dolby and Panic! At The Disco’s Brendon Urie, gaining praise and recognition.

With their drive and determination, NRW’s primary focus is to spread the Retrowave sound and culture throughout the world.
