Soon you’ll get to know more about Lvshvun’s grind and work ethic through his music, having recently released visuals to his latest single “The Mob.” Check out his interview to see what he had to say…
HCM. How did you come by your stage name?
Lvshvun. My stage name is actually my middle name LvShVun pronounced Lashaun. I wanted to stand out so I put v’s for upside down a’s, so when you look me up I’ll be easier to find. I didn’t want an alter ego type of name so I stuck with something in my real name. That’s how my stage name Lvshvun came about
HCM. When did you discover your love for music and what made you realize you wanted to pursue a career in music?
Lvshvun. Music was always my second love nobody knew but a couple of my homies. Basketball was first I started writing raps in middle school in class I never thought I would pursue it tho. Even when I was chasing my NBA Dreams I was always making time to write songs after basketball ended Music became my 1st love.
HCM. To what or whom do you accredit your sense of style?
Lvshvun. My style comes from my upbringing and my environment. The good and bad times of my life. It also comes from my mom playing 90s r&b music when I was young. We use to call it clean up music in my house lol. Growing up those melodies stuck to me. Giving me the ability to make music for men and women. I have to thank Ma for introducing me to all styles of music at a young age making me the Versatile Artist I am today.
HCM. On your current release… How did you come up with the concept for this project?
Lvshvun. Currently, I’m not working on a project.. I’m focused on creating songs giving out content & being consistent right now. When it’s time My Project will have a significant meaning related to whatever is going on in my life at that moment. Every song concept I do will have meaning behind it.
HCM. What are some of your greatest challenges as an artist, and what is your greatest attribute when it comes to your work ethic?
Lvshvun. I think the greatest challenge for me as an artist is having to do it alone, Right now I think things would move a lot smoother and faster with a solid team. My #1 attribute is being able to listen to a beat and write the song in my head. Working on a lot of different songs at once, I’m always writing and working no matter where I’m at. Every day I’m working hard on building my brand, building my music and achieving my dreams.
HCM. What are your plans for the near future?
Lvshvun. My plan for the future is to continue being a Dope Artist who stays consistent giving the world Dope Music. I will continue showcasing my talent & creativity bringing my Art to life with Dope Music Videos…
HCM. Is there anyone you’d like to thank, any shout outs?
Lvshvun. I want to thank each & every individual that supports my movement & s/o to my family close friends, & Team RBM.
