HCM Interviews West Coast Hip-Hop Artist Travis Ford

HCM. When did you discover your love for music and what made you realize you wanted to pursue a career in music?
Travis Ford. Growing up watching Micheal Jackson, Lil Wayne I loved music. Used to perform at churches, won 1st place all talents, wasn’t taken it serious til’ the passing of my grandmother Inez Henderson.

HCM. To what or whom do you accredit your sense of style?
Travis Ford. They say I’m compared to, Lil Wayne, Tyga, and have a Yg type of flow lol. I think so myself.

HCM. On your current/upcoming album… How did you come up with the concept for this project?
Travis Ford. Well I’m from Los Angeles Southeast-Central so “Hood Wit Palm Treez” EP and a single hosted by Jadakiss. It’s a lot of palm treez in southern Cali, so I cause to name it that.

HCM. What are some of your greatest challenges as an artist, and what is your greatest attribute when it comes to your work ethic?
Travis Ford. I like to work get creative, use my brain, remake hits and a challenge is staying focus when ppl around me when working, other than that I’m focused ready to go when it comes to me working.

I go all-in nothing basic, I don’t sound like the average Los Angeles artist from the Westcoast.

HCM. What are your plans for the near future?
Travis Ford. To drop hot music and keep going to the top and grow and grow and become the superstar I am.

HCM. Is there anyone you’d like to thank, any shout outs?
