HCM. How did you come by your stage name?
Jalen So Universal. So universal started as a thought back in high school overtime with some hard work and dedication it is today formed into a business.
HCM. When did you discover your love for music and what made you realize you wanted to pursue a career in music?
Jalen So Universal. I always had a love for music growing up in a household full of it, I started to really lock it in and pursue it late 2018.
HCM. On your current release… How did you come up with the concept for this project?
Jalen So Universal. I thought about my previous project (LONG STORY SHORT ), I wanted to give the fans the opposite of that while still bringing the heat for the so universal family.
HCM. What are some of your greatest challenges as an artist, and what is your greatest attribute when it comes to your work ethic?
Jalen So Universal. Challenges are faced every day. Actually reading them and overcoming them for the better is the obstacle. With some dedication and grind while believing in yourself to the fullest should be the key.
HCM. What impression would you like listeners to be left with after hearing your music?
Jalen So Universal. I want my fans to feel the love and energy in knowing I’m going to be around for decades I’m here to stay.
