HCM. How did you come by your stage name?
T Law. My stage name came from my real name. It’s basically just my name shortened my name is Terrell Lawson I took that and came up with T Law other names didn’t work for me.
HCM. When did you discover your love for music and what made you realize you wanted to pursue a career in music?
T Law. I discovered my love of music at the age of 6 when my older brother would start teaching me how to write songs and tell me I was gone write and sing the songs that me and him did. I realized I wanted to pursue a career in music when I was like 13 and I wrote this song for me and my friend to sing and we performed it for the students in our school what motivated me for music was that everybody was singing my words I loved that feeling and I wanted it to last.
HCM. On your current/upcoming album… How did you come up with the concept for this project?
T Law. The concept for the upcoming project I am working on came from my Business partner and frequently collaborate with Karizmatk he wanted to show unity and bring back real music with lyrics and concepts that’s how we came up with the name Music Reborn will be released soon.
HCM. What are some of your greatest challenges as an artist, and what is your greatest attribute when it comes to your work ethic?
T Law. My greatest challenge as an artist is trying to get people to take me seriously as an artist because in my city of Chicago almost everybody does music and I feel like I have to prove that this is what I do and I got what it takes to be successful. My work ethic is I am a hard worker and perfectionist so I make sure everything is right before I release it.
