HCM. How did you come by your stage name?
$Mr. Face$. I started recording under the name SKREWFACE which means, Street Knowledge Revealed Effectively thru Words + Face equals the Flesh. I released three projects under that name & then I took a long break from music until the pandemic of 2020 & I was reinspired to do music again so I started recording again under the name $Mr.Face$ A.K.A David Nolan.
HCM. What made you first realize you wanted to pursue a career in music?
$Mr. Face$. Music has been a huge influence and major impact on my life since I can remember. I wrote my first rhyme when I was 12.
HCM. How would you describe your music?
$Mr. Face$. My music is unique to my life experiences, views & perspective of this world we live in.
HCM. What makes you different from other artists in the industry?
$Mr. Face$. I am who I am to the best of my ability in this art form.
HCM. What projects do you have in the making currently and what are your plans for the near future?
$Mr. Face$. I have four songs streaming on all platforms, two videos many performances at clubs & venues around the country, & I’m finishing up my album THRU THE MUDD, which I will be releasing sometime this year.
