Roderick Moore

Roderick Moore was born in Los Angeles, CA. He was raised in Southern California as a teen he had worked as a songwriter for local acts in the metropolitan area. Roderick was granted the opportunity to work directly with family in the music industry, Franklin Beverly and Maze at the Beverly Family Reunion in Camden Alabama. Roderick relocated to the South attending high school in Moss Point. Roderick was an honor student and as well as a member of the Moss Point High school state championship football team. Graduating from Moss Point High school in 1994, Roderick went to Jackson State University were he studied History and pledged Omega Psi Phi Inc. in 1997. Roderick graduated from Jackson State University in 1998 with a bachelor’s degree of Science in History. While at Jackson State, he worked in the Mass Communication Department as a television/radio intern. Roderick has also worked as a studio manager at Coast Inc. Studios in Jackson, MS. Overseeing his first mixed tape project entitled “From the Block to The Booth, Vol. 1.” Where he worked with various artists such as: T-Skillz, Block Boy, Marcus., Gutta Boy, King James II, and Lil Bo. Roderick also worked as a music journalist and also as an exchange student at Jackson State upon entering graduate school to pursue a master in History. Roderick became a party promoter in the college circuit, planning major events of on campus parties and off campus events. While, working behind the scenes shaped Roderick for his leadership role in the music business as consultant for local acts that were looking for management and direction. Roderick teamed up with one of his fraternity brother who was at the time working with Hour Glass Records, Ernest Jackson. Linking up artists for features and performing live on stage with Rap artist Rich Boy.

Roderick has worked with a vast amount of artist with talent in the South and he has created an avenue for them to become independent artist and he is working to provide the same benefits to artist that major label do, but with a more personal touch and hands on approach. Roderick Moore, as a professional A&R is extremely qualified in the music entertainment business to combine artist with the best labels.

Overall, Roderick Moore has experts skills in radio promotions, street team promotions, public relations and marketing backgrounds, with a plethora of qualifications and decades of relationships with radio programmers, members of the media, music retailers, DJ’s, industry tastemakers and access to consumers.
