HCM Interviews Up and Coming R&B Artist Ty’Gee Ramon

Ty'gee picOver the weekend HCM caught up with up and coming R&B/Soul artist, Ty’Gee Ramon for a brief interview. We happened to catch Ty’Gee in between shows while on the road, so check out what he had to say…

HCM. How did you come by your stage name?   
Ty’Gee. Well I came up wit calling myself my first name because it’s original, and my dad threw the Ramon part on there which is my middle name.

HCM. When did you discover your love for music and what made you realize you wanted to pursuit a career in music?
Ty’Gee. I’ve loved music since a kid always been around it… my family is very musically orientated… but about 2 yrs ago I bought some studio equipment and decided to go for it….

HCM. On your current/upcoming album… How did you come up with the concept for this project?
Ty’Gee. To be honest I kind of just recorded a couple of songs together and decided to put the ones I thought fitted the best, and go from there… This will be my debut release, so I don’t wanna go too far into detail, but it will be dropping in the fall of this year.

HCM. What are your plans for the near future?
Ty’Gee. My plan is to become as big as a music star that I can be so I can help my family out… an most importantly open up a studio in Louisiana for the unacknowledged younger kids, teens, and adults….
