Txtrica Interview
HCM. How did you come by your stage name?
Txtrica. I’ve just watched this movie “Who am I”. It’s a movie about hackers and at this time I was such a computer geek. Basically my name is a shorter version of “Text Recall” because it’s a typically hacker word!
HCM. When did you discover your love for music and what made you realize you wanted to pursuit a career in music?
Txtrica. I really loved music since I was a kid (played with my moms guitar or listened old cd’s. So here’s my Story. When I was I think 12, I started to produce Dubstep music! Then after some years a friend asked me if I could produce a beat for him. So I replied “why not” and after this “job” I was so excited to make more beats until now! Short story, but informative!
HCM. On your upcoming album… How did you come up with the concept for this project?Txtrica. I’m currently working on an EP! It’s just the way you can listen to a beat on the one hand with rap and on the other hand without rap. So I decided to work an a EP with some dark or sad vibes that the listener can feel the things that i felt while doing this type of beat.
HCM. What are your plans for the near future?
Txtrica. My plans for the near future are to break through this noise of people trying to get fame and do they music without seriously meaning behind it. I want to get more reach and more fans that react to my music! And for sure I hope to work with some nice talented rappers.
HCM. Is there anyone you’d like to thank, any shout outs?
Txtrica. I really want to thank all my friends and family who say “Yo I believe in you and your music”! These are the people I need to get motivation to continue making my music.
