HCM Interviews Rapper DeeDawg

HCM. When did you discover your love for music and what made you realize you wanted to pursue a career in music?
DeeDawg. I discovered music early in the game but I didn’t have the right motivation to keep going so I left it alone, but throughout the years a lot of homies encouraged me to do it. I’m a businessman so I’m all about making a bag, I’d rather get the money than waste my talent because others weren’t supporting me.

HCM. To what or whom do you accredit your sense of style?
DeeDawg. I’ve always had my own style. It’s something that just can’t be copied.

HCM. On your upcoming release… How did you come up with the concept for this project?
DeeDawg. I’m still working on perfecting the concept and music, but just know, the end product will be dope.

HCM. What are some of your greatest challenges as an artist, and what is your greatest attribute when it comes to your work ethic?
DeeDawg. I’m just happy I was able to start somewhere. I’m forever grateful for those who didn’t push me. They’re the reason I’m going hard, so I can tell em don’t sleep no more and live without em.

HCM. Is there anyone you’d like to thank, any shout outs?
DeeDawg. Shoutout to my Day 1 Supporters. Ya’ll will forever be recognized, and for those who let days go by without simply helping. Keep watching me ‼️ I’m leaving em like they planned on leaving me.
