HCM Interviews INDOE

HCM. How did you come by your stage name?
INDOE. It’s me real name, lol!

HCM. When did you discover your love for music and what made you realize you wanted to pursuit a career in music?
INDOE. I started my music career at the age of 13 doing background vocals and writing for the likes of Big L, Supacat and hanging around The Fugees.

HCM. On your current/upcoming album… How did you come up with the concept for this project?
INDOE. It was an incredibly therapeutic time for me creating my single Deep, which is currently on all streaming platforms (wink wink); it was a time where I had to confront myself and be honest about the fact that a relationship that I really wanted to work just wasn’t going to. It’s hard thinking that you sacrificed so much for someone else but when it’s time to reciprocate they’re unable to do so and that’s really what deep is about.

HCM. What are some of your greatest challenges as an artist, and what is your greatest attribute when it comes to your work ethic?
INDOE. Understanding that this industry is the entertainment business, not the friend business watch yourself always be polite always be nice because you never know whom you’re going to see on the way up or on the way down. And my greatest attribute is I treat the janitor with the same respect that I would treat an executive.

HCM. Is there anyone you’d like to thank, any shout outs?
Shout out to DLK Entertainment and my whole creative staff I’m really excited for the things to come so keep watching.
