HCM Interviews Upcoming Daytona Beach Artist, “EDTHATSMYCUP”

All the way from Daytona Beach, now based in Los Angeles, EdThatsMyCup has been grinding it out making a name for himself as a rap artist in today’s industry.  HCM catches up with EdThatsMyCup to get in a brief Q&A… Check out what he had to say.


HCM. How did you come by your stage name?

EdThatsMyCup. Because if there is codeine in it, it’s my cup. Simple…

HCM. When did you discover your love for music and what made you realize you wanted to pursue a career in music?
EdThatsMyCup. Probably around 16.

HCM. To what or whom do you accredit your sense of style?
EdThatsMyCup. Shiit…, I’m tryna put a finger on this… I’d say between Lil Wyte & my own sound I made through Lo-Fi.

HCM. On your current/upcoming album… How did you come up with the concept for this project?
EdThatsMyCup. I just like thinking about themes for concepts as projects almost like books so, but I came up with the concept for the project just from having a good time.

HCM. What are some of your greatest challenges as an artist, and what is your greatest attribute when it comes to your work ethic?
EdThatsMyCup. Being able to get shows right now based where I’m located, & my greatest work ethic is I literally don’t stop.

HCM. What impression would you like listeners to be left with after hearing your music?
EdThatsMyCup. I want everyone to know even if I haven’t achieved my dreams yet, It’s possible to do anything if you want to be a pilot, the president, don’t let these muthkin haters out here tear you down or make u you second guess your self, everything an everything is possible for everybody and anybody.
