HCM Interviews Rising Sensation Karan Exclusive

HCM. How did you come by your stage name?
Karan Exclusive. My life is exclusive. Nobody lives like me or sounds like me. We’re all unique and my name is just that – a reminder that we’re all exclusive because life is a collective experience and yet personal experience.

HCM. When did you discover your love for music and what made you realize you wanted to pursue a career in music?
Karan Exclusive. I’ve been around the arts my whole life. Music was just another way to express life, thoughts, and a way to paint a vivid picture. I don’t think there was a point I stopped and decided to go for music. I think as an artist, it just evolved into that. Being around the scene, from auditions to sets and studios, the lifestyle basically puts you in constant contact with different ways to express your creativity and that’s where we are. Changing the world through music.

HCM. On your upcoming album… How did you come up with the concept for this project?
Karan Exclusive. Right now I’m working on my EP. I have the album title, number of songs, the whole 9 – but I won’t be sharing just yet! The team has been working hard, from PTE to APOC, we’re steady doing the overtime to make sure all the projects get done in time.

You see, we’re global. So we got people in Los Angeles, New York City, New Jersey, and all over Europe – working on this project. There’s a lot of coordination and organization required to pull this off the way we’re doing it, so I think it’s safe to say we’re all extremely excited to give the fans what they want.

HCM. What are some of your greatest challenges as an artist, and what is your greatest attribute when it comes to your work ethic?
That’s a good question.
The greatest challenge? Everything.
The greatest attribute? Everything.

In this industry, everything is a dream come true and everything is a major hassle. The hardest part is probably moving forward and leaving the past in the past. There’s a reason why people are in the past – you can’t save everyone so stay focused. The best part is that when you work with what you love, it doesn’t feel like “work”. Everything you do is magic. That’s the best part.

HCM. Is there anyone you’d like to thank, any shout outs?
Karan Exclusive. Sure, I’d like to thank God and Jesus, my family and fans, my team, all the aliens, and my manager CEO MiamiMike.
